 Best chicken ever! Jul 25, 2010
Between the rain drops I was able to squeeze in some time to roast my first chicken on the Weber Genesis rotisserie. It took about 1hr 15 mins and was simply the best chicken I have ever made. The skin was crisp without being burnt and the chicken just fell off the bones and was incredibly tender. If you make your own, you'll never be content with the grocery store or BJ's version again. I can't wait to try this on some lamb or prime rib.
Easy assembly and clean up was a breeze. Only down side... can't use it in the rain!

Have grilled several chickens with rotisserie. The birds have been delicious! I use Tastefully Simple Seasoning and brush the bird with olive oil. Birds are usually cooked thoroughly in 1-1/2 hours. The rotisserie has proven to be an excellent grilling experience!

The rotisserie did not fit our Weber. The grill was purchased at a local big box hardware store about three years ago. The local store had exactly this rotisserie, but at a much higher price, for all 300 series grills. We could not find the model number on our grill, but guessed it had to be part of the same. We used Amazon for the best price, but learned that it isn't. Weber should have set its grill to accept the 'universal' rotisserie.

Rotisserie works as advertised. I prefer the old design with the wooden handle on the end. The wood didn't get hot but you need a hot pad to get this rotisserie off the grill. Other than that....good.

Openbox provided a great price and the item came in a box so it was protected. We have not used it yet but I'm sure it will work as well as it looks. Debbie
Since I wrote this first review,we have used the rotisserie twice and it works great. We are able to cook more than one chicken at a time, which is great for company. Debbie
