Great little grill Jun 27, 2008
By E. Monroe I was looking for a small/portable grill that would be perfect for food for two, not for a dozen. I chose Weber because of their reputation for quality. The Weber Q120 fits the bill perfectly. I decided on the Weber Q120 over the Q100 because of the fold out side tables.
I have been using the grill for about six weeks now and it is working out great. The electric starter ( comes with a battery ) works on the first spark every time. The gas adjustment has a good range from low to high ( I only wish there was a 'catch' on the knob between the high/start position and the off...I've turned it off accidentally a couple of times ). The cast iron surface cooks evenly and is easy to clean. I highly recommend the Weber grill.

exactly what I've been looking for in a compact grill Jul 01, 2008
By Linda Stockton The Weber Q120 is a fantastic little grill. As a vegetarian, I wasn't sure just how much I'd actually use a grill, and didn't want to BBQ on something that felt unstable or flimsy... well... I've had the grill for almost a month now and I think I've only missed grilling 2 of those days.
Veggie kabobs are a breeze (it holds 6 perfectly) as are bocaburgers, tofurkey beer brats, and jumbo dogs. I'm sure for my carniverous friends, it would work equally well.
I'm loving it so much I just ordered a cookbook today for vegetarian grilling so that I can expand my repetoire (sic).
Best Features:
- easy to put together
- cast iron grate
- shape/size
- fantastic electric starter that doesn't have an 'explosive' start to it
It is worth the price... I think it will last a good long time.

Great portable grill May 25, 2008
By Bill The Weber Q grills are well made of high quality components. What makes it worth 5 stars for me are two design features.
First is the cast iron grate. Prior to cooking you heat up the grill for about ten minutes. The grate gets hot and stays hot enough to sear and sizzle the meat. Compared to more typical steel rods, the cast iron makes a big difference.
Second is the bowl shape that makes it so easy to clean. I use a ragor paper towel and, sometimes a scraper, to push the grease and bits though the bottom into the drip pan, which you throw away. Then I can put it in the optional Weber bag for storage in our motorhome.
I also recommend the optional Weber cast iron griddle for breakfast cooking. With the Weber Q, Weber griddle and Weber bag you have a very well designed and functional portable cooking center.
I use mine for motorhome living. It would also be ideal for the balcony or patio of an apartment, small home or condo patio or balcony.

So great, I bought a second one! Aug 13, 2008

I've had the Weber Q 120 for about two years now, and has worked great being dragged camping or even just to the backyard to cook a veggie burger or two. My BF is a vegetarian so I used it primarily for vegetarian foods. I just today ordered a second one to use for meats (yes, separate grills for separate food).
The cart you can buy works great when you're on the move (you can use it to tote around the BBQ grill to its location, then stand it up to use as a stand), the side tables that fold out are great.
If you buy the Weber Q tools they will snap into place underneath the side table and will fold INTO the grill where they stay away from outside elements until they are used.
I accidentally left the Weber Q outside for too long (yes, 6 months too low) and the grate started to rust, so keep it inside. Instead of cleaning it I was able to get a replacement from Weber for only approximately $26 (with shipping!).
The grate comes out and is easy to scrub in the sink (if you'd like) or just burn it off and wipe with a towel (vegetables don't tend to stick too often). The drip pan is huge enough for a few sessions of BBQ and you can toss them out as necessary (replacements aluminum tins available). I had a Coleman grill with a tiny little plastic thing to hold grease run-off, and it would always overflow during hamburger cookouts and leave me with an awful mess unless I babysat the darn thing.
The grill is not too heavy and pretty easy to lift and move around, I ABSOLUTELY love it. I use mini-propane tanks since they are easier to haul and works great (only need two during a weekend camping trip while feeding a few people).
This is my first grill I ever bought on my own and I have fallen madly in love with it.. Yes, I love it soo much that I did, after all, buy a second one today :)

Great Results in Less Time Jun 27, 2008
By F. Knowles Absolutely perfect for empty nesters and small families. The small "foot print" insures easy storage and portability. The grill is easy to clean so it retains its newness. Everything grilled tastes great! It has a larger capacity of cooking surface than expected. Start-up is the absolute easiest. Cooking is quick, using less propane gas. Would recommend this grill to everyone.
