5rotisserie excellence  Jul 28, 2010
The weber electric rotisserie is the best way to cook chicken and beef roast so far. I have had rotiseries for gas grills but nothing compares to charcoal. Good job weber.

this is great i should have bought it years ago.if you like to grill this is a must have

5Disappointed with the ring quality but Weber made it right  Jul 12, 2010
This is the second one of these that I have purchased. I purchased the first one years ago, was very pleased with it, I have used it for pork roasts, beef roasts, lamb, as well as chicken with wonderful results. So I decided that I needed a second one for my camp.

The quality of the one that I just received was not as good. The ring is smaller, the tabs are the probably the same length as before, so it barely fits my kettle. Because the ring is smaller, when you put the lid on, the lid slides around. It works, but the fire is getting more air so it burns hotter. The tabs are also not even, so the ring wobbles. Overall, the rotisserie works but whoever is making the rings for weber, needs to be fired and a new source found.

However, Weber's customer service is second to none. Whenever, I have had a problem in the past, (chipped lid) all I have had to do is call, explain my issue and they have not hestitated to send a replacement. They have always wanted the old one back but they paid for the shipping so not a problem. I will contact them this time as well to see if I can get a replacement.

The company is a good one to deal with and cares about their customers.

Update - Weber sent me a new rotisserie ring. They just required proof of purchase and the new one was on it's way. When it arrived, it fit as it was supposed to.

5Well worth the money  Jul 05, 2010
Let's keep this short and sweet. Buy this rotisserie, also get the Weber 7403 (briquet holder); then setup (takes less than five minutes) and make great food.

Our first time use, we had a few (four adults & a couple kids) guests over, two six plus pounds chickens.....left overs, part of a breast and a wing. Any questions?

5A must for the Weber lover...!  Jun 06, 2010
If you are a fan of Weber Grills and products and use a 22 ½" kettle the Weber Charcoal Kettle Rotisserie is a must. I received mine as a gift from my wife because she knows how much I love to cook outside all year long. On my Weber kettle I grill, BBQ, and now I can rotisserie foods. I wanted to share with you how easy it is to set up and especially the results this product delivers. Clean up is also easy.

On Saturday I added a 10-pound prime rib roast with the bones onto my Weber Charcoal Kettle Rotisserie. I simply just added a little salt and black pepper and let the fat cap marinate the meat. I maintained a medium heat temperature of approximately 350 degrees during the 3 hour cooking time. I also added 4 large chunks of soaked pecan wood during the first 90 minutes and the results were perfect. The prime rib roast not only looked great but it was juicy and had a perfect smoke ring as my personal prize!! I plan on doing more meals this summer with chicken and pork.

Bottom line, excellent investment! Remember, life is good when you are cooking outdoors! An ice-cold beer also helps! Thanks Weber...!
