The best saute pan ever! Jan 07, 2004

This is the best pan I own. It cooks evenly, with no hot spots, it is big - a full 12 inches across! It is useful as a frying pan and as a saute. And to clean it, I just deglaze and then wash. To keep it shiny, I use Barkeepers Friend and a sponge. I am very glad I made the investment!

This is the best pan I've ever used. It heats so evenly, you barely have to stir. The handle stays cool. It's easy to clean. You use lower heat so the bottom of the pan is much easier to keep clean. I'm planning to purchase more Viking cookware.

I've had this pan early on with my Viking experience. I use it a lot for "biscuits & gravy". My stove is nothing special, but this pan conducts heat so evenly that it doesn't matter.

This was the first piece of Viking cookware I purchased and I have never ever regretted spending the money! It cooks evenly without hot spots. And I use it all of the time. Viking is the best stainless cookware I have ever used, and I have All-Clad, too. This is better! The handle makes it really easy to grip and lift. This pan is well worth the money.

This is the pan that sits on my stove for use day in and day out.
I can't believe how easily it cleans given the fact it isn't non stick coated.
Worth every penny.
