Highly Disappointed!! Mar 04, 2009
By Tonica Johnson I bought the Jack La Lane Power juicer and was very disappointed. I returned it after trying it a few times. Carrots would always get stuck in the bottom of the shoot and impede anything else including the stuck carrots from passing through to the blade. I had to keep stopping the juicer to pull the carrots out. I realized that everytime a put a carrot in the juicer, it would get stuck once it got juiced down to the right size to just sit at the bottom of the shoot. Ughhh...so I returned it and got the Jack La Lane "Elite." The only difference was that the "Elite" had a stainless steel cover...it had exactly the same problem..I would never, ever, recommend this juicer to anyone. I ended up going back to my Juiceman Jr which I have had for over 15 years. I had put it in a bag to take to Goodwill, but had to take it out again.I now have a Breville "elite". It DOES NOT JUICE greens well and there seems to be a lot of waste. I'm going to try another brand and if I am still dissatisfied will just stick with my old Juiceman Jr!

Performs ok, but underpowered Jan 08, 2008
By Hok Kei Tam This product is ok, but you can buy better that don't use most of their production money for infomercials. Motor blew out when trying to juice a pineapple. For $100, you can get juicers with over 700watts of power, not just 350 watts.

Powerful yet Cumbersome Dec 24, 2008
By Nuknuk Pros: - Powerful juicer - Comes with its own cleaning tools
Cons: - Many parts that needs to be cleaned each time you use it - Assembly is a bit cumbersome - Loud
Juicers would be more practical if you have to make a lot of juice each time you use it. Just need to store the juice in the ref. Otherwise, if you only need to make a couple of glasses, all the hassle maybe not worth it. You have to assemble the equipment, then you have to clean it and store it back to its place in the shelves. Some parts of this juicer are also sharp and you must be careful handling them.
Recommended: Yes (with some trepidation)

By Michael DeGrave I bought the Jack Lalanne Juicer for my husband for our anniversary he was thrilled to have it he used it once and the second time he went to use it the round base piece busted into 3 pieces now a $100.00 down the drain, I'm going tomorrow to get me a different brand and cheaper least when they tear up you don't feel so bad.

NOT FOR SERIOUS JUICER! Jul 16, 2007
By Gaylan K. Frederic Motor blew out when juice ran out sides into motor! Plastic parts do not fit tightly! Struggle to operate! Need key to clean. Waste of money! MY old Panasonic worked well for 30 years!
