useful Feb 24, 2011
By Rebja I bought this recently seeing as I tend to fluctuate in weight a lot and I was pleasantly suprised that is a simple, honest book with a great and useful introduction leading on to simple recipes which really made sense to me and are also very practical. Many times books such as this have ridiculous meals which need so many items that it costs way too much time and money to make but these recipes are kept more realistic so they work for me.
I especially liked the Chilli soup and will make that many times more but the most different and unique recipe was the Fruit Pizza, cannot say I was sure about it but I tried it and loved it , as did my kids!
Love this book.

Essential Cookbook Dec 27, 2010
By tolu94 This cook book is definitely one of the best I've bought. I love the casual tone of the writer. She sounds like a practical woman with experience on the issue on staying healthy and loosing weight. The advice is realistic and practical, there is a very friendly tone used in the tips given which make them more appealing to follow unlike other books that seem to tell you off. The recipes are interesting but not too weird. It includes everyday simple meals like Quiche Lorraine to Egg Foo Young. The instructions are simple for anyone to follow and always come out right which is a surprise with my skills. I love the results of all the recipes I have tried, I try at least 2 or 3 each week so I've gotten through a lot in a short time. My knowledge of food has definitely improved and because I'm sticking to foods from book my eating habits have also improved. The best thing about the book is that you don't need uncommon ingredients, most of the time everything I need is already in my kitchen. My favourite recipe is definitely the Mexican Hamburgers because it's a recipe I've never seen before and I love it much more than I do normal hamburgers. I originally bought the paperback copy of the book but, seeing as I used it so much, I decided to get a copy on kindle as well. The format of the book is easy to read on there and there's no need to have to change pages with sticky fingers because they're all on one screen. Odd Interesting Thoughts Of Losing Weight That Work Apr 15, 2011
By Gregory The twists and turns threw me off some in the introductory paragraphs. I can eat anything I want? What sort of informercial sale is this pitch to me? I can truly eat anything I want? Getting my hands on the idea I saw the diet advice calls for eating in moderation some days and cheating on your eating the next. I can live with that. I eat out on a fairly regular basis and hide the scale. These recipes are quick and new to me and I believe so newer for the reason that I did not cook much and do not cook but twice a month now. The book recipes are great fun in demand with my friends. My pants are a little looser fair and square and my guests are happy and I eat what I want, anything, that I do.

"The Nondiet Cookbook" is filled with great information. The title got me first. I want to stay skinny eating anything I want. I grew tired of skinny women telling the Media they don't exercise and live off Big Macs. The Cookbook introduced me to how I am eating too unhealthy for the past three years. Getting into shape is my resolution this year. As a starter I followed the cheat on weekends idea the writer recommends. This is the only plan that fits with my life. I am a working mother of two Monday through Friday. I don't have time to cook. I began taking new healthy food to work and cheat eating out with the hubby every Saturday. Changing my eating habits a little has gotten my chubby arms reduced a great lot for me so far. On Valentine's Day for our night out I could squeeze into a slinky black dress I plan on buying. Men don't understand how life is that they can eat more and us tall girls have got to eat healthy so we don't look like men. My arms are the biggest part of my body. I am ashamed of wearing a dress that accentuates the flab on my arms. My Kindle download arrived quickly so it is fast or I am surprised my first experience purchasing an ebook. The cooking strategies are simple for me. I was relieved this is my first Cookbook I have an easy time reading. After a busy week, I don't have energy to think about food preparation. The recipes tell you like it is quickly go. Krystle Nicole Russin's Cookbook writer rival Sandra Lee's recipes sound good until you try them. "The Nondiet Cookbook" gave me a fairly excellent husband approved Crem Brulee recipe I hadn't seen before in simple steps and I got to eat it on my diet! My friends asked Are you sure you are on a diet? I said Yes! An amateur chef like me does well cooking recipes in "The Nondiet Cookbook." People that do not like this book think they do not have room for improvement for diet and cooking. The Cookbook is definitely a good buy for people that want to eat healthy and cook easy comfort food that I didn't know how to cook before this. Honestly I thought it would be an annoying fake diet book but it helped me. I noticed the pounds I lost so far in the mirror today and I learned I can get to a thin weight eating normal food that I like on weekends. The Cookbook recipes are very good. So far I have done 8 bakes from the Cookbook.

This is an un-book! Jan 24, 2011
By Evelyn Williams I ordered this book in the Kindle edition. There is no table of contents and no index. The recipes are unformatted and unoriginal and uninspiring. Don't fall for it!
