5Flexitarian Sneaks Meatballs on the Sly  Sep 30, 2011
By Shutterpug
OK... I love to cook and eat all types of food; however, I have recently become a "flexitarian"... trying to eat more vegetarian but still have not given up totally on meat.

Now my husband is a meat eater and has a real love for making meatballs... says it's like therapy! Is it any wonder he bought the "Bible" of meatball cooking?

The variety of recipes is extensive. Instructions are clear and to the point (a very important element for my husband) and though there are no photos in the book, the recipes will have you coming back for more.

Who could resist... Provencal Beef Meatballs with Red Wine Sauce; Sausage, Cheddar, and Red Pepper Meatballs; Grilled Thai Pork Meatballs; Chicken Meatballs Piccata... and the list goes on and on.

Now about those Mexican Beef and Chorizo Meatballs... I found myself sneaking to the refrigerator and noshing on the leftovers. I couldn't help myself. So much for being vegetarian.

Get this book. You will not be disappointed!

5What a great book!  Sep 19, 2010
By Polly Ferguson
I picked up this book on a whim, and quickly made 5 of the meatball recipes. I liked them ALL! I was so impressed I just had to comment. It's rare to try five recipes out of one cookbook and like them ALL! I've bought another copy for a raffle prize for my cookbook club.

5Everything You've Always Wanted to Know About Meatballs !!  Feb 18, 2011
By Art and Soul "ACottageArtist"
WOW, awesome great [Thick] bible of a meatball cookbook !! This book is a heavyweight volume of every imaginable meatball recipe you could need in a lifetime !! I'm impressed. It covers meatballs made with every kind of meat, with many recipes for each type of meat. As well, it has recipes for vegetarian, including blackeyed pea meatballs, black bean meatballs, chickpea meatballs, falafel, and many kinds of sauces and other recipes to accompany the meatballs, including desserts. It is so much more than just a meatball cookbook. They have covered that subject thoroughly...I really do mean THOROUGHLY....but so much more is included. It is simply a wealth of information. I tried a couple of recipes and they were fabulous! The ingredients are readily available, and reading the recipes, they just "sound good" with the use of fresh herbs, garlic etc. On a recent Martha Stewart show, they featured some of New York's chefs who are specializing in meatballs in their restaurants. The recipes in this cookbook are as good as the ones featured on that show !! I have a cookbook collection, and it takes a lot to impress me in a cookbook. But every kitchen should have this one...I got this book from a marketplace seller at a great price, so getting it a bargain price was the icing on the meatball! :) It was listed as being in good/very good condition, but it looks brand new !! I cannot recommend it highly enough....I would give it TEN stars if I could.

5Great Cookbook for Meatball lovers  Feb 02, 2010
By Jdog
I bought this book for my Mother who is a die hard meatball lover. This book reminded her of when I was a little boy and she would cook meatball subs and how I thought they were the best in the World (they still are)! She received this book on Christmas Day and she had tears of Joy. I am buying more copies for my brothers and sisters to remind them of the great meatballs we had from the old country.
