Scrapbook of Black History Dec 17, 2009
By Teach I was really glad to see the The Black Book re-issued. This book has intriguing little-known Black history facts. Dr. Cosby summed it up best in his introduction when he said ..."supposed a three-hundred-year-old Black man...had decided to keep a scrapbook...".

The Black Book Mar 02, 2010
By Troublescandyman I had the original hard copy of this book, but I loaned it out and never got it back. It's a keepsake, and I could find copies in softcover, but I was really pleased to see this 35th edition in hardback edition. You will treasure the photos and documents found in this book. Take a life experience from my, don't loan it out. You will never see it again. LOL

A Must Book Oct 06, 2010
By Lawrence Francois
"Mr. Orleans"
This is a must book for folks interested in the truth about Black history. It's a keepsake, and should not be loan to anyone (even family members), if it is - chances are you will not get it back. The pictures and text are from actual articles from slaves. It tells about the true attitudes of America in the days Jim Crow. Parents this book should be mandatory reading for teaching their young about the how African American where treated years ago. I can't say enough about this book, all I can say is - "A Must Book".

The Black Book: 35th Anniversary Edition Jun 21, 2010
By Tony I have owned and given as gifts, copies of this incredible book since its original publication. The Black Book is simultaneously terrifying and uplifting. It is an unflinching look into our collective souls. With the current unfortunate leanings towards revisionist history, it is an absolute must-have for all American family libraries.
