simply the best Feb 19, 2011
By cooking bear This is the second T-Fal professional fry pan that I've bought. I first bought the 12.5 inch one and loved it so much I ordered this smaller one. It is simply the best non-stick skillet of any brand that I've ever come across! I can't praise it enough. Keep up the good work, T-Fal!

the best, as rated by Cooks, and it is! Mar 23, 2011
By J. Monson I bought this on Cooks Magazines recomendation. They said it was better than their All Clad! So... I needed one, and to my amazement, it is better than any other nonstick pan I've ever had!

Why did I wait so long? Apr 26, 2011
By MikeDinATX As in, "Why did I wait so long to replace my old, cheap, sticky non-stick pans." This pan cooks up eggs with no additional oil and absolutely no sticking whatsoever. Heat distribution is excellent and has a nice flat bottom that works well for a glass cooktop. Best non-stick ever.

Good basic small non-stick pan Aug 20, 2011
By R. Thomas So after seeing that America's Test Kitchen liked the T-Fal Professional 12 inch non-stick I bought this as a replacement for my beloved All-Clad 8 inch "Try Me" pan, thinking if they like the larger item the smaller would be equally good, just smaller.... All non-stick surfaces wear out over time no matter how much you pay, and of course they are at their best when new. The All Clad lasted a loooong time, but wasn't particularly slick, even out of the box...
But not to compare apples and oranges, this T-Fal pan performs well, and is very slick. Wash it, wipe it with a bit of oil before first use (as directed in the instructions) and the surface is good to go. A bit lighter in weight than expected, and the silicon handle gets warmer than expected, even over moderate heat. The non-stick surface is great, and because it is a bit thin it doesn't take long to heat up.
Everything I've used this pan for has worked perfectly, veggie saute, pancakes, eggs, etc. it just remains to be seen how long it lasts. You can pay $5-8 for a thin pan that wears out in a month or three of use, but I expect more from this one...we shall see.
Thumbs up so far!

Bot the first by random choice, my second for love May 26, 2011
By CyberCrone I bought my first t-fal, a 10-inch, simply because among the fry pans on the rack in Walmart it was the one closest to the size I wanted and it had a glass lid. Now I need an 8-inch and am looking for a T-fal specifically and won't take any other brand because (you've read this in prior reviews!) it's simply the best fry pan I've ever used. It REALLY IS non-stick - totally! And heats evenly and cleans up beautifully. It's so pleasing in a world full of junk products to find something of this quality. This will be #6 rave review out of 6 total - are you convinced yet?
