Good Value Feb 09, 2009

We make a lot of soups and had been using a stainless steel soup pot. But we found that if you have some pasta in your soup and are re-heating it, you must watch closely and stir often or the pasta will stick to the bottom of the pot. This is a real pain to clean so we invested in this non-stick pot just in case. It is a smaller diameter than we were used to and a bit taller but we find it to be just great. My research showed that the T-Fal lining is better than some of the others which tend to flake off.

Favorite stock pot Feb 05, 2009
By Jan Ellars I have owned my T-fal stock pot for 2 years and I love it so much I purchased 3 more for my daughtes and daughter-in-law. It is heavy metal and has a very good non-stick finish. It is a slightly smaller diameter than most dutch oven pans that come with a set so it fits well on the large burner of a stove. It is deep enough to make that big pot of soup, stew, noodles, etc and not boil over. The glass lid has a steam hole which is great for simmering. Recommend to every cook. You,ll wonder what you ever did without it.

After a year . . . . Oct 31, 2008

I purchased this 8 quart T-Fal stock pot for my canning needs. I use it for salsa, jelly, etc. I have only used it for this one season, so I do not know how it will hold up in the long run, but so far I am very satisfied with its performance. I do not agree with the 2 star rating as being lightweight. I think it is a respectably heavy pot, and I love the see-through vented glass lid and the silicone handles.
It's been about a year. I still like the pot, however, the non-stick coating shows signs of wear with little "dots" of the pan surface showing through on the bottom, even though I have used only coated or wooden utensils for stirring. This is disappointing as I cannot afford to replace a pot like this every year.

Love this pot! Feb 25, 2009
By Sandy Dlabaj I bought this pot after spending $25 on a pot from Walmart that was large enough to make my chicken tettrazini in. That pot scorched my meal. I went online and found this one. I used it and it is and AWESOME cooking pot. Nothing sticks and clean up was easy. I will continue to reorder this type of cookware until I replace all of my current cookware.I highly recommend it.

T-Fal 8 quart stockpot works well Apr 30, 2009
By Janell Lynn The stock pot works great and the food does not stick. It's not too heavy. The only thing I would prefer differnet would be for it to be more wide than tall. I am 5'1" and it is hard on my shoulders to stir the food, plus I think the food would cook more evenly if it was a bit wider. However, I would recommend the pot.
