The Best Wok I'd Ever Have Jul 24, 2008
By C. CHEN I cook Chinese food everyday. However, it's very difficult to find a good wok here in US. I have shopped around and used many different woks since I came to US 13 years ago.
I got a T-Fal fry pan last year from a friend. It works great. Therefore, I was looking for a wok from T-Fal. I couldn't find it from the local stores. Finally, I found it at Amazon. When it arrived, I was surprised how beautiful it is. I tried it immediately. It works perfectly. Finally, I don't have to do the "wok hunting" again!

Best Wok I have ever owned! Sep 09, 2009
By Vickie Schumann I have owned...and disposed... of many woks. But this one is by far, the best! The heat remains even during cooking, it is durable and is easy to clean. Don't waste your money elsewhere.

Teflon came off after 1 month Jan 04, 2011
By F. Chih Original post on 1/4/11: What I like most about this wok is its excellent non-stick coating. I use it everyday with wooden spatula. Wouldn't risk to use metal utensil although the product description says ok. I stir fry rice cake (very sticky) and gladly found the wok really non-stick. Extremely easy to clean. It's wide enough but a little too shallow (3" in depth) comparing to other 14" wok in the market. The bottom is very slippery on stove top. Make sure you hold the handle when you stir or turn the food.
2/10/11 update: Very disappointed to find many scratches after 1 month. I use it with wooden utensil only and clean it with a sponge. For the health of my family, I had to throw it away when the Teflon came off. I hope this once-so-great wok last longer.

By Steven Luiz Worked like a charm. Perfect size for stirfry, and didnt have any issues with sticking. I am glad i purchased this and it was half the price of any wok i seen at the stores.

Great non-stick wok ~ Wok on ! :o) May 31, 2010

I've had quite a few T-Fal frying pans over the years and was always pleased. I cook Chinese occasionally and when I saw this one I figured that I'd give it a shot, and I'm glad I did.
It is large, well made as usual with T-Fal, fairly heavy-duty and heats evenly. I will be ordering a lid as this wok does not come with one - there are generic wok-lids to be had if you search for them, or if you have a large eough frying pan the lid may be interchangeable. The long and helper handles are put on well with rivets rather than screws, and the flat bottom sits well on the burner without wobbling or need of a ring. The wok is aluminum with a pretty decent non-stick, but please - make sure no metal utensils are used on this as the coating will scratch easily.

Net-net - nice wok for the money, particularly if you're interested in cutting fats from the diet - the nonstick has many advantages - it allows for much less oil and although it isn't as traditional as the carbon-steel models I've had, it's better made than some, and won't rust as some of the carbon steel woks tend to do (even if they're seasoned properly). Some carbon steel models come with non-stick, but non-stick doesn't adhere well to them, while on aluminum it tends to last longer. The flat bottom will also work on an electric stove, while the round bottom woks can reflect heat back onto the burner element, causing damage.
