Do not buy this toaster May 21, 2009
By Anableps I bought this toaster because I wanted something cheap and basic. Little did I know how bad a toaster could be.
The slots on this toaster are so narrow that anything except Wonderbread won't fit. Since I don't eat Wonderbread, that means every time I put a piece of bread in, it's at a weird canted angle and a quarter of it is actually sticking out from the toaster.
The electric cord is barely longer than the toaster itself, which means I either have to get an extension to reach the outlet -- which is less than two feet away -- or turn the toaster backwards since the cord comes out of the front. A very poor design indeed.
To top it off, the burn is uneven. The inside gets burned and the outside gets nothing.
Again: DO NOT BUY THIS TOASTER.

The Toaster That Fits! Jan 06, 2010
By Donna Evans I was doing some brick-and-mortar shopping looking for a red toaster. Most were too big, others not the right color. When I indexed red toasters online, Sunbeam came up. Sunbeam is a name I will always remember, and my red toaster is excellent. Since I have a small counter space, it fits perfectly on it. It fits bagels, toast, and English muffins. And it has a small grill where the crumbs fall out of it. Nice!

yes, it's a cheap toaster Sep 20, 2009
By Charlie Messing Well, it's cute, and it works, but is still mysterious after two months. Sometimes the center heating elements don't go on, and the toast only gets done on one side. Unless you call it a bagel, with its special bagel button, it comes up in about thirty seconds. Okay, I haven't tried everything, but I do find that it's hard to set and forget this toaster. Sometimes the toast burns, sometimes it's hardly done. And because it was so cheap, I'm not making a big deal about it. If you, however, want a truly dependable toaster, get another!

i wouldn't buy it again Nov 14, 2009

i bought this toaster because it was red, and my wife likes things that are red. however, she is not happy with the toaster despite its color. the slot for bread is too short. with many slices of bread we have to cut the bread in half and put a half slice on each side. it also does not toast evenly. it wasn't a good purchase.

My Cool Red Toaster May 19, 2010

I love this toaster. It has nice wide slots for my morning bagel which I really appreciate. The only small thing I noticed is that one side sometimes toasts a bit more than the other so it is not always completely even.
