Great Cookware Jan 24, 2004
This is not my first piece of sitram. I keep adding on because I love this cookware! Easy to clean, works great on my gas stove and heats evenly. This small saucepan is great for just melting butter and making my marinades for my meats and seafood. I highly recommend sitram cookware. I do have other high quality cookware but I always seem to pull out the sitram.

I brought this on Amazon and I use it everyday to boil milk for Indian tea on my electric stove. I am happy with this purchase. I like the spout....that was the main reason I bought this.

Handy little pot, and works with induction cooktop Mar 10, 2011
By Kristina Thompson I ordered this nifty little number for its pouring spouts and to use with my new induction cooktop.
Pro: Convenient size for small jobs Pour spouts for righties & lefties Thick base for even heating Generous slot in handle for hanging Works great with induction!
Cons: I haven't really found any, though I suppose the uninsulated handle would get hot if you put the pot in the oven. But so would an insulated one.
I had also ordered a teakettle for use with the induction stove, but while waiting for that to arrive I used this pot to heat my water and decided to cancel the teakettle. At the 1800 watt setting, ten ounces of water in this pot boils in 90 seconds. I can wait 90 seconds tidying the kitchen. I'll be using this pot for my teawater instead of having another piece of equipment to maintain.
I'll be ordering more Sitram in the near future.

Very convenient Dec 28, 2010
By DXmachina9 Like the previous review, I mostly use this for making tea with milk. I wanted something that was easy to pour and easy to clean. This fits the bill. I was amazed at how much difference the spout makes -- it's much faster to pour and I haven't spilled anything since I got the pot.
This pot is a little lighter than my other pots, but it heats quite evenly (though I've only used it for a few sauces and other precision tasks).
For what it's worth, it seems very well constructed.
