It can't be destroyed! Jan 01, 2001
By David O'Donnell I went to dinner one night, forgetting that I had left pasta on the stove to boil. It wasn't until I asked for the check, that OMG, the PASTA IS STILL ON! I went racing home certain that my house would be on fire. The house was smoke filled, and pasta, well, it was quite black for about 1/2 inch on the bottom. I turned over the pan, most of it fell out. I stuck the hot pan under the water (like the instructions say to do, after cooking, not burning of course)used the metal scrubby that comes with some of the pans, and I'll be hanged if it still didn't look brand new. Do you know why I bought the pan, it was on sale, and I was replacing a circulon that I had left eggs on to boil. That pan was totally ruined and I had given it to the kids to use in the sand pit.

ScanPan absolutely the best Oct 06, 2006

"buyer"
It wasn't easy to pony up $500 for 5 pans & 4 lids. But that was 17 years ago and my ScanPans are still almost like new. I will admit the skillets do stick a little. These wonderful pans have cost me less than $6 a year to own. They can't be beat(up).

Daniel Nov 13, 2010
By Daniel Thompson I learned from TV news that the traditional non-stick Teflon coating cookware can break down under heat or scratch off and cause cancer. Therefore, I have not been using them at all. I had changed to all stainless steel cookware last year. However, the food stick and can got darken easily (also cancer causing) and I have to use a lot of oil for cooking. I then saw there are ceramic coating pans on the market. I bought a few of the Scanpan ceramic titanium coating pans and also a few of the Healthy Legend ceramic coating pans and pots with the German ceramic coating call Greblon. They are both very good even they are expensive. Overall, I think the Healthy Legend cookware is slightly better and the non-stick property works better after some use. There is other on the market but their prices are even more.

Will definitely buy more of these products. They are not inexpensive but they are well worth the money. I also have the 12" fry pan and love it. Great product.

The best pan! Feb 02, 2007
By P. Wiggins At first I didn't like the fact that the pan was rather heavy, but in spite of that, I just loved it. Just ordered a second one. It seems to heat up more quickly than my other cookware and it cleans up like a dream!
