This waffle iron not only makes yummy waffles, it is fun to use. The only problem with our is the hook for it keeps sliding down and iron will open too easily when being lifted. It takes too long to make enough waffles for our family of 6. We have burnt up a few waffles trying to get used to it. But all in all we are happy with the purchase.

We took the time to clean then season this waffle iron. The first waffle wasn't very good but with a little addition oil this waffle iron produced waffles as nice as anything I can make in my expensive electric iron I use at home. I use it on a gas camp stove. Yes, we can eat them faster than I can cook them but that way they are hot and fresh!

After a very tedious seasoning process, the waffle maker was perfect! It is very easy to use on a camp stove and yields perfectly sized waffles.
