tasty snack! Aug 12, 2010
By buru buru piggu Korean seaweed snacks are very tasty. My local Chinese supermarket sells this brand, in addition to another favorite ChoripDong Korean Seaweed Snack (Kim Nori), Roasted w/Olive oil & Sea Salted, 0.17-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12). If you've tried Japanese seaweed snacks and didn't like them, you may like Korean ones. Korean seaweed snacks are typically roasted and flavored with salt and oil while Japanese ones are oil-less. This makes Korean seaweed sheets very light, flaky, and crispy. They just crumble in your mouth. Both are very nutritious and healthy, but Japanese seaweed strips are thicker and more chewy. The downside to the yumminess is that Korean seaweed snacks typically taste saltier, so it's best to eat them with a bowl of rice, though I've gone through several packs of them on their own. You also have to wipe your fingers afterward because of the oil.
Inside each pouch is a plastic tray that holds 6 or 8 sheets of pre-cut seaweed to prevent crush damage. If you don't like seaweed at all, you might not like this. Seaweed snacks are not for everyone. But if you do, definitely give this a try.

By CareKat great timing on delivery....tastes great...but the packs are so small, I guess that's why they are called snack packs.

Good but over priced Mar 15, 2011
By dragt This product is ok. Not as good as other brands that I have tried (such as assi brand premium seasoned seaweed). If you are looking for a seasoned seaweed that has less salt than the others, this product would be perfect for you. The quantity is pathetic for the price...that is its only true downfall.

Soft-crisp seaweed strips......yum! Feb 02, 2011

These seasoned seaweed strips are crisp and maybe a little oily when compared to Japanese-style seasoned strips. This is a very flavorful and refreshing change to my diet. Seaweed has iodine in it and is what I feel is a more natural way to add it to my diet. Portion controlled as they come in little boxes.
Not what I thought it was May 11, 2012
By vee It was not the same product pictured. I was specifically looking for that product. I am slightly disappointed. It didn't taste as I had expected either.
