What world should be coming to Jul 13, 2006
By Carol M. Peltier
"Carrie"
The 12 v crock pot is of great use to us. We live full time in our RV and can use the power of the sun instead of electric or LP or generator. How nice to have a little freedom from being chained to the system. Great for truckers. Ah fresh BBQ chicken or pork with just the cost of the pot and the food. Not a foolish product at all.

Slow Mobile Cooking Sep 12, 2009
By L. Costa Perfectly sized for cooking two man-sized meal portions. Low power drain on 12 VDC - works great for trucks, RVs, boats. Solidly designed and constructed. Not cheap, but worth the price.

Melted first time we used it. Oct 29, 2007
By Joanne Mckenzie My husband is a trucker. I bought it so he could have hot meals in his truck and save money. The first time he used it, the plug melted in the outlet. No crock pot. No hot food. No outlet (it was damaged by the meltdown). Amazon and ANTOnline are not responsible. RoadPro the Manufacturer wants us to pay to ship it to them for a repair or replacement. We can't use a replacement...the socket is fried! ROADPRO RPSL-350 12-VOLT CROCK POT SLOW COOKER

not recommended Oct 19, 2011
By NewZJ This product works, until the warranty runs out
Steer clear of Roadpro products, they do not sell quality items.
I used this cooker for 4 months in my semi truck, I didn't use it everyday, maybe once a week at first, the week preceding the moment it failed I used it 5 times a week.
Now when I plug it in, it lights up red and does nothing else and conveniently it is outside the manufacturer 90 day warranty (90 day warranty should have told me not to buy it)
this is not the cooker you're looking for

Cooks well; smaller than advertised Aug 02, 2011
By jengirl I already have a 1 quart AC crock pot which I can plug into an outlet in my Toyota Sienna, but I wanted something a little bigger.
The first thing I noticed was the tapered pot. The exterior is a perfect cylinder; why did they taper the pot? I decided to check how much more this 1.5 quart pot held compared to my 1 quart pot. The difference was very negligible - about 1 cup of liquid. The pot actually holds about 1.25 quarts.
Other than the small size, I'm happy with the pot.
