This is a great dutch oven. Well made and great cooking features. It competes well with those costing twice as much! Only thing I would improve on is the plastic top. Even at less than 350 degrees it warps and looks shriveled.

This casserole dish/Dutch oven is extremely heavy, cast iron, in a deep cherry red color. The first one arrived smashed, but Amazon sent me a replacement quickly, which was in perfect condition. You can only use the lid of this dish under 325 degs; my one bubbled up & the plastic started to melt at 350 degs. You can serve around 4 people with this dish.

We use this pot often. It holds up well, the only issue we have with it is that the top handle doesn't wear well when put in the oven.
Overall, good value!

Purchased this as a gift for a family member. She loved it. It was exactly what she wanted and I thought it was a very good value as I compared prices. I thought it was seemed heavy to me. I wondered how you lift it out of the oven when filled with food. I suppose cooks expect the weight. It is quite an attractive looking pot and makes a nice serving piece.

I purchased this because the price was great but when I received it there was already damage to the lid and the paint was peeling off. I do not believe it effects the usability of the pot and since the price was so good I decided to keep it. Otherwise it is heavy and a nice pot.
