5Perfect for two!  Dec 23, 2008
By Jose A. Mendoza "Flaquita"
I've been making many meals for my husband and I in this slow cooker and it is just the right size. I was debating on whether to get a 3 quart or something smaller. I researched many of the 1-2 quart models and although many of the reviews raved about how those sizes were perfect for a couple, I am so glad that I got this one since I can't imagine making a meal for two in anything smaller. Plus, this leaves a little extra leftover for lunch the next day.

4Almost perfect!  Oct 26, 2009
By P. Jarvi "pj6000"
This is the first slow cooker I have ever purchased and ever used for that matter. I made some beans and kielbasa over the weekend and it worked perfectly. I was able to leave the beans sitting with the low setting all day with no burning or other problems. When cleaning everything, warm water and a soft sponge was all it took to clean the ceramic insert.

I do have one complaint with this cooker: it slides around too easily. The bottom of it has 4 nubs that are a part of the overall plastic body. Unfortunately, this plastic is very smooth and slides around. This is further worsened by the short yet very stiff power cord. In order to provide some safety I am going to need to find something to put beneath it to prevent it from sliding.

This 3-quart slow cooker is perfect when cooking for 2. You can get a great meal and another for left-overs or freezing. Low price but good quality crockpot......

5wine country gal  Dec 03, 2008
By D. J. O'brien
A perfect gift for the single guy! So easy to put a meal together just before heading for work, and come home to a great dinner! In fact, I bought one for myself too, even though I am retired!

4Great for 2 to 4 servings  Jul 01, 2009
By janehofstra
I love my 3 qt. crockpot! It's the perfect size for 3 to 4 people or 2 people plus leftovers, or 2 people with good appetites. In the 6 months that I've owned it, I've cooked steel-cut oatmeal, pasta sauce (from scratch) w/ meatballs, chile, pulled pork, pot roast, and hot apple cider all to perfection. Saves me lots of time in the morning and after work. Great value at under $20, and I love that it has a "keep warm" setting and removable crock.
