1burned up on second use  Dec 13, 2009
By Diane Mcelroy
Very dissapointed with this purchase. My last handheld mixer lasted more than 20 years and I had to replace it when the beaters fell apart. This one's motor went out the second time I used it. Spend a few more dollars and buy a quality product.

2Pleasant performance for 3 months and then KAPUT!  Jan 31, 2010
By Evika
This worked well for a few months and then it died...It seemed like a good product, but only at first. I would recommend spending a bit more to get better quality. Disappointing at best.

5Nice mixer!  Mar 07, 2010

This is a light, easy to use hand mixer that even rests on the side of the bowl should it be too heavy to hold, but it's not. I got it because I like the weight and the nicely designed controls, and I use it for things like whipping egg whites, cream, etc. I don't want to drag my big mixer out for.

I use my Mixmaster for larger jobs, and mix cookie dough, brownies or bread dough with a spoon. If you want a hand mixer to do the job of a stand mixer, though, get a heavy duty one. If you want it to knead dough or do heavy cookie dough, get one of those $300 stand mixers lol!

1P-O-S  Dec 23, 2009

This thing BROKE after I had it a month and used it **maybe** 4 times. The motor gave out. It just quit spinning. It was 2 days before Thanksgiving and I had to run over to my mom's house to borrow her 1975 GE hand mixer that she got as a wedding present over 30 years ago. It mixed what this mixer couldn't and its STILL working today.
They sure don't make em like they used to!
