 Pressure Gauge Jul 21, 2010
Pressure canner worked fine, but upon use, I noticed a good bit of condesation acculumates inside the pressure gauge. I purchased this brand new from Amazon and used it only 2 times. I will replace the gauge as I was told no moisture or water should accululate inside the gauge. I emailed Presto but have received no response yet.

I gave my original pressure canner to my daughter who is interested in canning and I thought I was finished with this activity. However, I now have an even larger garden and was in need of a canner. I love this Presto pressure canner. It is much lighter than my original Presto and does a great job!

We were very pleased with how well this worked. It is our first time canning and we had to experiment quickly with it. It did just what we knew it would. However, we were not ready to find out that during canning, it scratched our glass stove top. Now we will have a daily reminder of our first time canning. Would have been nice to know that maybe this is not for a glasstop stove. Other than that, it works perfectly.

I love my new canner. It is light weight and even when it is full it is manageable. I didn't know how well it would work on my smooth top stove but I didn't have any problems at all. It was easy to maintain the correct pressure.

Received it very quickly (6 working days).
Easy to use and easy to clean.
Would recommend to all as cheaper and most reliable option for canning.
One thing though, use white vinegar mixed with water when filling up to avoid water marks...
