5Good Quality!  Apr 13, 2011
By Chef Buddy
The product was packaged very well and arrived quickly. Being that I live in an area where there aren't any local stores that carry preserved lemons, I was happy to find these on Amazon. The quality was really good, but not the best I've ever seen, and being a chef, I've seen several different preserved lemon products. Overall I was happy with the purchase and I would buy these again.

5Lemony Goodness  Jan 16, 2011
By hurricanelena
I had never heard of preserved lemons before when I decided to try what I later found out was a Moroccan recipes called Chicken with Lemon and Olives. I think I now have a new addiction as I almost finished all of them. The lemon flavor is mellower than a fresh lemon (and I like fresh lemons) but in combination with the salt still gives it a nice lip puckering sour taste that is good with chicken, couscous, and just as a very salty snack.

5Nice Product  May 31, 2011

These Lemons are excellent for Tagines and any North African cuisine. Also very good sliced in a Martini! For the price I decided to make my own. Takes a month for the Lemons to be preserved. I can wait. Otherwise very good!

5Preserved lemons  Feb 05, 2011

These are great as I use them in chicken Tajine. One bottle leaked all over the inside of the shipping box. I guess the lid shook loose. They were packed in bubble wrap, individually, so I'm not sure why it leaked.

I just got this order in.. this particular brand or batch or whatever did not taste very good. It was much too bitter and less "bright" tasting than other preserved lemons I have had. Kind of disappointed, not sure what to do with a whole jar of preserved lemons now.
