Outstanding Rice Cooker better than any Zojirushi Nov 07, 2009
By Carolina Girl
"Airedales are for me!"
I don't know what the other reviewer was doing wrong but my oatmeal came outstanding and the brown rice come out equally well. A very easy to use rice cooker with many advanced features that the Zojirushi does not have. I paid $180 dollar Zojiushi that played Mozart when the rice was done and died shortly after one year(along with a Zojirushi bread maker); I think I will stick with Panasonic which are more dependable especially having using them for the last 20 years with no problem, just great rice

Perfect rice cooking every time, great for vegi steaming too! Jan 02, 2012
By Li Love this rice cooker! I use it to cook white rice all the time and everytime it cooked perfect. Also use it to steam vegis and sometimes pork purse and the steaming function is great.
Easy to clean as well, the non-stick area's coating is much better than some cheap $20 rice cooker, as long as you don't use abrasive cleaning cloth it won't scratch.
The steaming basket is included though, I don't know why someone in the review didn't get it in their package, maybe it was a opened item.

good rice cooker, very pleased Apr 11, 2011
By jason I am very pleased with this rice cooker. While I haven't had an opportunity to test out using this for anything other than standard white long grain rice, it does a very good job with what that. It even works well with smaller amounts of rice than panasonic recommends (I have cooked as little as a cup without burning). The only complaint is that amazon's description is incorrect with this unit. The 20 cup (cooked) unit does not ship with a steamer basket (I checked panasonic's webpage), however I contacted amazon and they gave me a [...] certificate to purchase a replacement. I got this one: [...] which fits well, though sits on the bottom rather than the top of the cooking chamber (which I am fine with. More volume to steam). I would recommend this unit to anyone in need of a fuzzy logic cooker who might need to occasionally make large volumes of rice.

Well Worth the Purchase. Jan 05, 2011
By Naphone Sa I can't really say anything about this rice cooker. I like that it has other modes because not everything cooks at the same time as rice. There is an option brown rice and even rice porridge. Well worth the money and I will probably order it again if the one I have right now breaks. Also the design it is fantastic, with the press of a button the lid opens and stays open.
Great rice. Lots and lots of great rice. Jan 13, 2012
By E. Petter Great rice cooker. 20 cups of rice is a lot of rice! I don't think I will be using the full capacity more than once per year. But it works great and makes great rice. I'd give it five stars but I just can't get that excited about a rice cooker.
