Melba Toast is a great buy on Amazon.com. We had been buying it at the supermarket, one box at a time. We paid approximately $3.50 a box and on Amazon we paid $2.19 a box. We have opened 2 boxes and about half of the Melba Toast in each box had broken pieces. Amazon needs to put a label on the shipping box to handle with care.

Old London melba toast is good tasting if you like small pieces. It is packed loosely in the box and so far out of 6 boxes I've only found two slices not broken into pieces. Nothing like paying high dollar for toasted bread that is basically small pieces when you open it up. They definitely need to work on their packaging.

This is a product that you really need on the HCG diet. The packages are so expensive in the stores around here, I found it much cheaper to buy a case. Glad I did -- half the box is already gone. Prefer Melba Toast to grissini.

I had never heard of Melba Toast, but when I started my HCG Diet I was told to eat either the melba toast or the grissini bread. It tastes great.
