The heat elements inside the cone maker are not evenly spread out. It cooks/darkens more closer to the edge and much less in the middle.

First of all, the booklet has instructions in english and spanish. The english side has 8 pages, and the spanish side has 13 pages. The recipes are in spanish only! I went online and printed waffle cone recipes, but when you pour the mix in the machine and lock it, all of the mix runs out the sides!
I wasted two hours trying to make the mix thicker/ trying to change the temp, etc. No use! This is junk!

I read the reviews, but decided to buy this anyway (which I normally don't do, but I thought, hey what the heck, how bad could it be?)...well, I was stupid. Everything everyone said was true, It doesn't heat evenly, the book is mostly in Spanish, etc. I tried a recipe from online...it just wouldn't heat evenly...I tried to change the temperature...it still went horribly wrong. Also, when it cooked, it was so thin that it would end up with holes in it...ice cream would probably leak out...not to mention the fact that when you tried to lift it a little to check and see if it was done, you would get a huge hole in it (and yes, I sprayed it with cooking spray numerous times so it would not stick). I would love to return it, but i hate returning stuff, I am lazy, I already threw away the box, and by the time I pay for shipping it back, it will not even be worth it. Do as I say, not as I do...do not buy this...
