Description:

This historic cow's milk cheese is a national icon for the motherland of England. Only six dairies, spread through three counties are permitted to manufacture a cheese that can legally be sold as Stilton Blue. The production of this cheessemi-soft texture to its paste. This is strictly a table cheese. Don't dilute the magnificent flavor of this Mature Stilton by adding it to dishes. Instead, enjoy it at its best as part of a cheese platter with some crusty bread and frui ts. If you are looking for a wine pairing, opt for a port. Although this is the same pairing recommended for newer, unaged Stilton, it will result in an entirely different experience upon tasting.

I have had this Stilton from this company before. It is an excellent cheese to try and the cheese is smooth and creamy! I highly recommend this cheese. It arrives fast and in a cold pack for freshness.

We have tried many different blue cheeses on our grilled NY steaks. Nothing compares to Stilton. It has the perfect texture and taste to complement the meat and it melts perfectly. Not too salty or runny but just right. This cheese is hard to find in grocery stores and if you do you will pay 50% more than you will on Amazon.

I just love Mature Blue Stilton Cheese. This is very good and creamy, lots and lots of character. Not as horsey as I would have liked it but it is still very fine.
