5Mandy's Specials  Jul 13, 2009
By Treesa "Dancer"
Somewhere I picked up a copy of Mandy's Recipes more than 20 years ago. When I'm not sure how to cook a specific dish, I reference her recipes and follow them or do a take off on them. It's never failed me. I love the 'old-timey' feel of the book (which is small) which gives me a 'back to basics' view of things without sacrificing the gourmet touch.

5You Will Enjoy listening Mandy's Voice  Mar 12, 2009
By H. Watson
This recipe book is much fun to read Mandy's talk! For some of her recipes, Mandy didn't put the cooking time or temperatures, so I needed to use other recipe book to cover those information. However, they are great recipes.

5...new old book...  Sep 11, 2010
By Sarah K. Robinson "skrobinson"
This wonderful little book so reminds me of a similar small volume purchased by me in 1959, on my first visit to New Orleans! I just love it and am reading every recipe -- even if I don't make all of them!
