Lobster Mac and Cheese Jan 30, 2010
By cbs Tasty but a bit expensive for the amount you get, two five inch diameter bowls. Not expecting it to be in bowls. Good for a side dish for two. Cheese sauce is light and not overpowering. Lobster to macaroni ration is good.

Good, Not Great Apr 25, 2011
By Dustin Steven Hamil I ordered this item direct from Hancock Gourmet's website after seeing the Bobby Flow Throwdown on which this dish was featured.
The dish is/was extremely rich. It tasted wonderful; however it upset my stomach terribly. My recommendation is that two people split a 9oz portion (along with a salad or other lighter accompaniment), not that one person consume a full portion. That will blunt the heaviness (and expense) of the dish.
Although the dish was tasty, it is too expensive, especially when burdened with shipping cost ($20). Product cost + shipping cost comes to darn near $27 per 9oz portion, which is too much, even considering the quality of the product.
I'm glad I tried the lobster mac & cheese for the experience, but I would not order it again.

No Discounted Price From Amazon Dec 23, 2010
By justicelb The regular list price of the 2x9oz Lobster Mac and Cheese, from the Hancock Lobster Co., is Amazons so called sale/discounted price for the same exact product ($33.95). I find it very misleading for Amazon to make it appear that their price is discounted 43% from "list", when in reality it is the same as Hancocks regular list price. In plain english, it does not appear that there is any savings offered by Amazon for this product and it is not actually discounted. I suggest if you want to purchase this item you order the 40oz size instead of one 2x9oz.
