They leak Sep 02, 2009
By Nina Phillips
"Nina"
When I got these I was so excited about the concept. The Idea is great, they are just not put together very well. I bought 2 of these sets. I followed the directions and I mounted them, then filled the individual containers with my spices. They leak. Where the silver in the front meets the plastic on the side there is a gap and it leaks. It's a pretty big gap so even the flaky thicker spices come through and not just the ground up ones. I thought it was just that one, but out of the 2 carousels 24 individual containers 5 of them had this problem. I didn't want to return them because I already have visible holes for mounting and all my spices are loaded up and previous containers thrown away. I called the company and spoke with Brenda and told her my problem. I thought maybe they could send me some individual replacement containers and I would send the defective ones back to her, she said they where 4$ each. I didn't see why I should have to pay for there defective canisters twice. She said she would talk to her manager Owen then called me back and said no again. She was very nice about it but I am still left fixing there defect with silicone or something. So thanks for nothing fox run. fox run is the name of the company that makes these kitchen art items. Still a great concept which is why they got 2 stars. They just need to learn to put them together better and help there customers more to keep them happy.

Rotating Spice Rack Jun 20, 2009
By K. L. Estepp This item is used daily in our house. It makes it so easy to dispense spices. Finally a product as good as it's advertising. My only suggestion is that you take the time to tighten the small screw on the bottom before filling. This will eliminate other reviewers complaints about leakage.

A bit disappointing Jun 29, 2009
By Joanzee Very inventive product. But the qualtiy did not match the price. It was very hard putting two units togeter. Also 4 of the individual spice containers where coming apart. Then one container leaked out the spice that was put in. Emailed Amazon about the problem - would have to return the two units ordered when I already had loaded up most of the spices and printed labels for them. Called the mfg. and they could not just replace the bad containers. So had to use glue. Disappointing.

Very, very leaky. Cheap plastic, ugly when mounted. Feb 25, 2011
By Xac Very dissatisfied with this product. The main problem is that the containers leak horribly with anything powdered. Cinnamon and Paprika were the worst in my containers. If you shake the container over food without opening it, you can easily apply a good amount of spice. That's a problem. The plastic is really cheap feeling. It feels like you could break the containers into 5 pieces if you squeezed it too hard. I initially mounted the rack under my counter, but it was hanging at least an inch lower on one side because of the cheap warped plastic. This product is a great idea, but absolutely horrible delivery. The auto-mesures don't work for larger spices, and the smaller ones leak. Tightening the bottom screw will NOT solve the leak problem. Mine are leaking from all seams, and not just a small amount.

Kitchenart Spice Rack as a gift is a big hit! Mar 28, 2009
By B. Baxter One of my wife's most dreaded kitchen activity is trying to find a spice in her spice cabinet. I had seen the K/A rack while searching the internet and decided it looked like it would be a winner. It was, not often do I find a gift that is a hit. This one was and it was out of the park hit. I bought 3 total hoping that the stacking feature would work on our counter. I think it would have, but my wife likes the three lined up on the bottom shelf our the cabinet. She is so excited to not have to reach over 2 rows to find the right spice. all are neatly alphabetized and accessable with a quick spin. The only comment I have heard is that the 'shaker' spout pours rather quickly on some finely ground spices. so, you need to watch that you don't shake too much too quickly. My concern before I bought them was would it be a high quality item, I believe it is. well built and worth it!
