5Wonderful machine  Jul 22, 2010
By Kate
This is one great machine. It is a real work horse. I make all of our bread products and this machine has cut down my prep time. It was a bit hard to get used to the fact that it was not a tilt head but that is a small price to pay for how well this machine works. I highly recommend it.

5LOVE my Mixer!!!  Oct 03, 2010
By Jennifer Anderson "Mousie Soshie"
I have this mixer and have had it for at least a year now. It is so much better than the earlier models by KitchenAid. However, one word of warning, replacement parts are not easy to find and depending on what you order, they can run fairly expensive. I just need a replacement paddle because my kids misplaced mine and I can't live without my mixer... seriously, we are a big time cooking and baking family.

1BROKE AFTER ABOUT 5 USES  May 24, 2011
By Natalie
I was so excited to have this. I have made a few batches of cookies, one batch of pizza dough, and tonight I was making pasta dough and I shut it off to add an egg, and when I went to turn it back on, to my surprise... it wouldn't. After googling my problem to find out what is wrong, I encountered many people with the same issue. Their mixer just suddenly stopped working. Kitchenaid wants me to ship it to them so they can give me a repair estimate. I don't know that I want to spend money shipping it to them, so they can charge me god knows how much to fix a mixer that shouldn't need fixing. This is an expensive machine there is just no reason it should break after such MINIMAL use. I do not make big batches of anything, this pasta recipe was 2 cups of flour and 3 eggs. I feel like this mixer should be able to handle it.

Buy at your own risk, it's a great machine when it works... but obviously useless when it doesn't. Just please read many reviews... People have MANY problems with this mixer - and kitchenaid products in general.

5Love this Mixer  Sep 16, 2010

I Love this mixer it does a fantantic job with large batches of cookie dough and such. It is also is very easy to clean. I bake a lot of bread and it does a good job of kneading the dough. One draw back though is it doesn't like to do a 4 loaf batch. The mixer cuts off after about 4 minutes. Other than that it's a Great product.

5I love it!!!  Jan 12, 2011
By Dalee
I was given this mixer as a gift from a friend who knows I love to bake. I love it! My holiday baking was made so much easier. I usually bake around twenty different cookies for the holidays, what a time saver this mixer was. It is so powerful and can handle double batches. It would be a great investment for your kitchen and will not disappoint you.
