This is a good stand mixer. The base is not as heavy as a kitchenaid, so it's not quite as sturdy, but I like certain things better. The bowl spins counter clockwise to the beaters so that it mixes really well. I also like that you can remove the mixer from the stand and use it as a hand mixer. The small downsides are that the motor seems to struggle a little when kneeding heavy dough, but it gets the job done fine. Also, the bowl should be a little bit taller, beause you have to add flour very slowly if the mixer is on and you don't want it to mist out of the bowl. All in all, I've been very happy with it after about 1.5 years of use.
