By Scotty

A really great Jamaican recipes collection. There are over 500 recipes in this book and I started cooking the minute I got it, some new Jerk Recipes and even how to prepare Jerk Pork in your oven. I had to have it in my kitchen.

Jamaican recipes are really made easy in this book, with Jerk recipes and over 400 authentic Jamaican recipe dishes this is the only Jamaican cookbook you will ever need. Ever heard of Ackee Cake or Naseberry Pancakes, well if you have not this is the cookbook for you. Along with these never before seen recipes are the traditional, oxtail, rice and peas, ackees and saltfish and a host of others. This is a must have cookbook for every chef, cooking enthusiast and home maker looking to spice up their menu.

This is a LOADED with Jamaican Dishes! Aug 22, 2011
By Tracy Hall The Jamaican Cooking Made Easy: Volume I is filled with recipes from the island culture. I assume they were able to compile so many due to their web site but if you like island cuisine - and ESPECIALLY if you've never tried it - this is THE PLACE to begin. I was somewhat concerned that the recipes would be difficult to prepare, but it was no problem. We visited Jamaica a few years ago and even the SMELL of our cooking brought back memories!
Out of Many, One People (and excellent recipes!) Aug 22, 2011
By E.L. Lawton The Jamaican motto, "Out of Many, One People," explains their unique blend of culture but it also goes a long way towards explaining why so much of their food is so enjoyable by a diverse crowd from all over the world. These recipes are delicious and we knew nothing about Jamaican cooking before we got this book. The very best food here are the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and the Peppered Shrimps recipes. Oh man oh man, these are good and their flair is not like any other kinds of food you'll experience. I think those who will be most pleasantly surprised will be those who have not eaten much or any food from Jamaica yet. With MORE THAN 300 TOTAL RECIPES you are going to find a lot that you and your family enjoys here. And if you've never made this food, you'll be glad that the authors of these recipes spent time being concise and writing the recipes so they are simple to prepare.
