Brilliantly designed, with unbeatable quality, I cook and serve in this beautiful pot. It is every bit as good as described. It is even hard to burn popcorn, the base distributes the heat so evenly. Magnificent piece of kitchenware, although one might be interested in the same 8 qt. pot with the pasta and steaming inserts, where available, for added practicality. The handles are beautifully designed and are extremely high quality, like everything else here.

If you're looking for a decent stainless steel pot, this is a fine choice. It's not as thick as more expensive products, but for the dollar it's hard to beat.

I was disappointed only because I ordered this item specifically for the purpose of using my electric mixer in it; however, the directions specify NOT to use this appliance in it. The material is not as heavy as I expected that it would be.

When you want to cook a BIG batch of chili, stew, or homemade tomato sauce this is the pot to have. The tempered glass lid let's you see how the brew is doing without lifting the lid. Cleans up great in the dishwasher. This is a well made product that will last a lifetime.
