Awesome Drink Blender! Jul 27, 2008
By K. Wright We make a lot of smoothies and icees and this blender blends ice better than any blender I have seen. It is even better than the smoothies in our mall. The ice has an almost silky texture that is fantastic. I think it is the specialized way the container and blade is shape cause all of the ice is pulled down. We are saving a lot of money making our own drinks with just ice and fruit than paying $5 and $8 a drink elsewhere. This is especially good since my wife and I are grad students and we don't have the extra money anyways but we do like iced drinks during our studies. We don't make sauces or anything else with this blender and it isn't a household multi purpose blender but it is great at making drinks.

Fantastic Blender Dec 02, 2010
By Quinn000 I checked on many blenders to make smoothies. After reviewing them I chose this one as a middle of the road model that had great reviews. So far it has been fantastic and we make smoothies and protein drinks daily. Makes a fast breakfast drink even with ice!

Outstanding Blender for smoothies everyday! Jun 10, 2011
By Mandy Our family loves this blender because it actually moves and blends the product inside without stopping it to stir and hand mix. It is simple to use, easy to clean in the dishwasher, and holds up well. We had an identical one that lasted for more than 3 years. The cheap ones last less than 6 months at our house, so the reduced frustration is well worth the extra money.
Mighty powerful! May 06, 2012
By R. Baker I have been researching blenders for months. I chose this new from a garage sale. The man sold restaurant equipment and had lots of these to sell. I figured $40 was worth the risk for a "commercial grade" blender. WOW! It is super powerful! Seriously takes only 20 seconds. Used ice and mixed fruit. Smoothest smoothie. Would give it 5 stars, but the sound was awful! Incredibly loud and scared all my pets and children. But, I have also heard the $400 blenders...and it is a similar decibel level. Well worth it for the drink quality!!!!!!!
Works well, but leaks in operation from the bottom... May 02, 2012
By Toad After making smoothies (with plenty of liquids and some frozen fruits), I noticed a ring inside the base of the pitcher where the gear from the base interacts with the geared base of the pitcher. This was where the spinning sent the slowly leaking contents outward to where they lay at the end... No leaking if I store liquids in the pitcher, 'just' when actually using the blender...! And it is not a lot of liquid, but plenty enough to raise concerns....
