5I am so excited!  Aug 17, 2009
By Brian S. Farley
My girlfriend and I picked out this food prossessor and we tried out right away. It chops well and the shredding blade works great shredding cheese. We also made home made salsa. It was exactly what I was looking for in a food processor. Some may say it is a bit loud but it does not bother me. I bought it at walmart for $54.88 I am really enjoying it!

5PLEASANTLY SURPRISED  Aug 11, 2009
By G. VENETIS "venegeo"
I bought this at Walmart for $30, and was prepared to live with any deficiencies it may have had in view of the bargain price I paid. After 2 months of use, I am absolutely thrilled with the performance, and I found nothing to gripe about. In fact, I'm feeling rather smug about the fact that this processor does everything that much higher priced models do, and I got it for next to nothing. While I find that Amazon more often than not has the best prices available, they seem to have gone off the track on this one. However, I appreciate their openness in allowing us to post comments on products purchased elsewhere.

1Disappointed  Aug 27, 2010
By Hicova
I bought this product at WalMart about a year ago to replace a much smaller Hamilton Beach food processor. I use it primarily for making cole slaw so was pleased with its size and overlooked the few detractions that I found. I was however concerned about the three different switches that will prevent operation especially that they were primarily plastic. Yesterday after prepping the cabbage for the processor, it would not operate at all. I tried numerous times to verify that the switches were making up properly but to no avail. After using this appliance less than a dozen times, it is junk. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product again!

5Love it - so far!!  Jan 13, 2010

Purchased this at a local kitchen outlet store on sale for $39.99! Took it home and made a delicious salsa and a spinach dip. Both turned out great with a perfect consistency. The processor was easy to use and powerful. I was very impressed and can't wait to use it more.

2Fire the Engineer  Feb 04, 2010

Even though I got this for a STEAL at Walmart ($35), it was still NOT worth it. Where do I start? Besides being somewhat noisy and requiring too many parts to put in place just to operate the thing, the design of this product fails in two other major places. The blade design does not draw larger pieces down to be chopped - they end up floating on top of what is finely mashed at the bottom of the container. And secondly and most importantly, you CANNOT fill the container all the way to make use of the "14-cup" design as anything that is close enough to liquid will fall between the motor shaft and the inner container lip which ends about 1/2 way up the container, leaking out from the bottom of the container. Just get anything besides this product is my only recommendation.
