Bad Bet! Don't buy it! Jan 14, 2005
By K. Fletcher I've had this slow cooker for 2 years, and it's burned nearly everything for this time. You can't set this while you're at work, which is the reason to buy a slow cooker. This item loses moisture and runs far too hot for what it's designed for. Buy something better.

Love it! Jun 24, 2005
By Sarah E. Wilkie I had a 3 quart crockpot that I totally loved but it was too small for most recipes. Even though I cook for one I needed a larger crockpot so I could cook and have leftovers.
This 4 quart crockpot is the perfect size. I would suggest if you work and want dinner to be ready when you get home, whatever the meat your recipe calls for use it directly from the freezer. It won't be overcooked that way.
The recipes that come with the crockpot sound really great and take just a few ingredients.

Runs a little hot Aug 23, 2010
By Terry Davis It is a nice size crock-pot that cooks meal fairly well. It seems to run hot even when on low. When sprayed with PAM the inside come clean easier, but after about 10 hours cooking something the sides are burnt pretty good. If cooking chicken or other low fat meats I would try something else, but for meats like roast this works great.

Great for Holidays! May 02, 2006
By James H Mulled wine, Eastern Medicine, Chicken Stew/porridge, etc. It's so easy to turn it on at night and wake up and things will be ready. Oh, the mulled wine!
