great deal, but watch the bottom! Jun 22, 2010
By Noodles McGuire can't beat the price on this sturdy, classic set. these mini-souffles are the perfect size (4 and 1/4 inches in diameter by 2 and 1/4 inches deep) for so many uses. and easy, too: just fill them with your creations, stick them in the oven, pull them out and eat right out of them, then toss them in the dishwasher. ours are still in great condition after many, many uses.
TIP: the reason i only give these four stars is because when first used, the blue ink logo that is stamped onto the bottom comes off. if you have something hot inside the ramekin and set it down on a permeable surface, the ink steams into it. the arm of my recliner now reads: "HIC oven to table PORCELAIN". kind of funny. not really.

they are what the advertise Apr 09, 2009
By glouise Perfect, hard to find 6 oz, white ramekin exactly as advertised. Was shipped in the amazon box in their original box with seperators so well packaged and no damage. Work fantastically as mise en place containers, for custards and soufflees. I did realise they would be from China just by the price so that was not suprising to me. As I can not afford to spend $2.00 to $6.00 a dish I did not stress on this. Have used them numerous times already in the oven, washed by hand or in a dish washer and they are still in great shape. No complaints.

Perfect for Mise en Place Feb 24, 2008

Along with the other available sizes, these ramekins are perfect for holding measured ingredients while I prepare to cook. They clean up from dry duty easily in the sink and wet, sticky ingredients come off without a hitch in the dish washer. The bottom of these dishes is unglazed, so if you set them in water you'll want to let them dry before changing their temperature. Otherwise, you can do almost anything with them.

Porcelain ramekins Feb 23, 2008

These are great, basic ramekins and honestly, there is nothing bad I can say about them. They have many uses in the kitchen, I use couple for salt & pepper. Good quality, good deal - that is pretty much it. And I like the basic white color, you can't go wrong with it. One ramekin in the set arrived broken but Amazon makes the return very easy and is quick with replacement.

Great product but terrible packing Dec 30, 2009
By John W These ramekins are good quality and work well; however, they are shipped with a sticker in the inside of EACH dish as well an another sticker on the bottom of EACH dish. That's 12 stickers that will not come off - I think they used superglue to get them on. At least they should have used stickers that come off easily, I probably won't buy this brand again just because of these persistent stickers.
