This is exactly what I needed for Chicken & Beef Pot Pies. They are the perfect size for individual servings. They clean up easy and have do not crack or chip with normal hand washing or dish washer. They go from freezer to oven with no problems at all. I can't say enough wonderful things about this product. I plan to order more of the same size in order to keep them in the freezer.

I ordered these to use for individual chicken pot pies. I debated between the 10 oz. made by the same company and the 14 oz., and finally chose the 14 oz. I think they're the perfect size for this purpose (and for really big servings of creme brulee!) and they're well-made. They arrived very quickly, in perfect shape, and were well-packed.

Love the dishes, good size for pot pies, cobblers, or soup/chili. Only 5/6 made it to my house intact, (Christmas season, so I'm thinking maybe UPS, maybe Amazon packing). Amazon promptly sent another 6 out....guess what? 5/6 of those made it intact!! I'm very happy, I got 10 instead of 6 but they might want to pack these better. Making pot pies this weekend!

While most ramekins are either two big for a main dish serving or two small these are a very unique size...
14 oz is just perfect to give everyone their own mini serving of things you'd normally cook in one large casserole dish which is quite unique...
individual pot pies
individual enchilada pies
individual shepard's pies
cobblers
creme brulees
salad bowls such as pasta salads, potato salad, etc
layered desserts
chocolate lava cakes or any hot dessert topped with icecream
They are simply a great size, especially for an individual main dish but you'll also find yourself using them for appetizers and dips to serve several things...nuts, dips, etc. Since they are white you could easily use them to go well on a larger plate if, for example, you want to do chips on a larger plate with dip inside served in the middle of the plate.
You can take them right from the oven to the table.

Nice size to make personal cheese cake desserts and treats. Just the right size for taco toppings and salad fixing too. Easy clean up with the porcelain finish. I just wish the outside bottoms had the porcelain glaze. The set of six fit nicely on a large cookie sheet.
