Excellent!!! Dec 03, 2006

This is the best juicer we have used and we have tried many. I had developed skin cancer and started using this juicer to juice 2 quarts of carrot and apple juice and 1 quart of leafy green vegetable juice, which I drink 8 oz. glasses of spread throughout the day. The cancer abated. The juicer is fantastic. It is quiet, easy to use and easy to clean. We highly recommend it. Even my children (8 years old and up) can use it safely. We also use it to juice wheatgrass, which almost no other juicer can effectively juice unless it is a wheatgrass juicer only. This machine crushes the food then presses it into a dry pulp squeezing nearly every drop of juice out of almost anything. It's Great! If you need a juicer, this is the one. Nothing else comes close. We only wish it came in a solid stainless steel version.

Very pleased with Green Star Juicer Nov 28, 2007
By Terri L. Manning I purchased a less expensive juicer, and after using it a few times, gave it to GoodWill. It was an awful mess to clean, and I never felt like it was really cleaned well. This juicer not only gets every bit of juice out of your produce, it's a breeze to clean it. No sharp blades, no hidden nooks and crannies. It dis-assembles and re-assembles quickly and easily.

not all it cracked up to be. Aug 10, 2008
By Rauphel N. Travis I bought this juicer to juice leafy greens. I had read at least a hundred reviews on various websites and everybody seemed to give this juicer two thumbs up in the juicing leafy greens department. but it was said That it didn't juice fruits very well. I thought ok that's cool. All I want it for is to get the most out of my green. but I came to find out that it doesn't do a very good job at all juicing Collard Greens or Kale. Those are the main 2 I wanted to juice. I don't care what screen you use (fruit or vegetable) or what knob you use on this juicer and how much you tighten or loosen it,(the control knob) it just won't work. You'll get a lot of pulp an unbelievable amount of foam and very little juice. It does a great job with broccoli. It does an ok job with parsley and cilantro. but greens and kale O.M.G (Oh My Gosh)NO! I never tried wheat grass. I found that it does an excellent job on apples, oranges, carrots and celery. But that's not what i bought it for. Anyway I wish someone had told me what I'm telling you all before I paid almost $500.00 for the GS3000. But 2 years after the fact i found "GSEjuicer vs. Angle part 2" on YouTube. The E in GSE stands for Elite and it has the same problem as the old model. go to youtube and type in the above if you want to see for yourself. you have to double click the video window with the explanation of why it won't play.
Update Oct 11 2011. I just checked YouTube and that video (GSEjuicer vs. Angle part 2) isn't there any more. Sorry... I guess it was making Green Star look to bad so they got euJuicers.com to take that "Juice Off" down. they do another one but the GSE is called "The Juicer with the Gray Star" they didn't dare put it up against the Angle juicer again. and it's censored to hell. but if you still want to see it.... the video is called "Greenpower Kempo vs. Juicer with the gray star part 2". The leafy greens part is 5 minutes into the video.

By Jake Love the juicer, works well w/ the Gerson Therapy. It's been a workhouse 40+ days straight. Cleaning is quick. Recommend a 4 cup pyrex glass bowl w/ this besides the one they give you to catch pulp.
Here's some background why to juice.
I have a Netflix account. Saw The Beautiful Truth and later the Gerson Miracle. Had a lump in my throat that was literally choking me when I ate. Bought the book, started juicing. I can swallow most of the time now and hope to be cured in time (been a month or so).
I've been a pretty healthy guy who's been into athletics and health for a long time. In the past 7 years I've developed bad habits. With the combination of the Gerson method and exercise, I feel better now than in a long time. Used to run 3-5 miles a day. Just started again...feeling healthy enough to do so. Blood pressure has dropped w/ out meds also (from 154/114 to 127/68 the other day). Cravings for juice and feeling good are stronger than any drug I've taken in the past. You honestly feel kind of light headed/high on life. Maybe that's the way we are supposed to feel.

Juicer failure Oct 31, 2011
By LaRue I have had a Green Star GP-E1503 juicer now for about 10 years. When I first purchased I had almost immediate failure of the twin-gear plastic surround. I contacted the company and they sent out another surround under their warranty. Several months later the second housing cracked. Now, I am no stranger to juicers and have owned a Champion juicer for many years prior to buying this one without a single problem. I am not hard on my juicers despite almost daily usage and I have to tell you clean-up is a pain with this juicer. After the company sent me another surround and new gears claiming that the gears may be warped or bent the same thing happened. To make a long story short I sealed the juicer and placed it in storage for 7 years. Upon returning the new surround had cracked without any use at all!!! I contacted Tribest.com, who I guess is the ditributor or manufacturer and they said I must be using harsh chemicals like bleach and that even with normal use they crack, that is just the nature of plastic!! Well I have to tell you that I was less than pleased at that answer and I will never endorse or purchase anything from this company. Their juicers are expensive and do not last, that is why their warranty is only 5 years, they are banking on light useage and having to replace maybe 1-2 plastic surrounds. They charge $67.00 for a new one on their website. Also, the pasta attachment and coarse seive was never used and they both cracked just sitting in storage.
Conclusion; I would never purchase this juicer if I were in the market and I would look into a champion or better yet, an Omega who warrants their products for up to 15 years!! Clearly the plastice Green Star uses is inferior and the company has done nothing, according to them, to solve the problem. Again, short warranty, terrible customer service dept., inferior plastic, basically a disposable $600 juicer!! Don't buy it!
