Great buy for an item I use daily Nov 30, 2009
By min-bee I have now been using one or both of these pans on a daily basis for almost a year. They are easy to clean and the finish has not chipped (I usually use bamboo or wooden utensils to stir), even though I have gone shopping and seen similar pots on sale unused with chips. I do use a "flame tamer" when making rice or things that are thick such as chili so that the food on the bottom doesn't brown or burn--the pans are one thickness and get too hot on the bottom without the flame tamer. But the pans are fine used alone when cooking soups or vegetables. These pans provide an economical and useful tool for those who want to avoid using aluminum or even stainless steel pots, which is why I switched. They come without lids, but I prefer Corning glass lids and have them already in sizes that fit the pans. I also bought a larger one of these graniteware pots; it came with a matching lid, but I prefer to use the glass one instead.

Poor quality Dec 17, 2011
By Keith I ordered the 1 and 2 quart suacepans. The handle of the 2 qt. broke off almost immediately. It appeared to be glued on. These saucepans are black in color and made in Mexico. I have other products from Granite Ware that are bluish in color and made in the USA. They have performed very well.

Nice pans Jul 15, 2011
By BJRohyea I bought these to replace the ones I backed over with my truck. I use them only for camping/deer camp and they work just great.

These are nice pots, a little on the light side but definently a good buy. With car ethey should last a long time.
