Perfect Size! Cooks Great! Jul 28, 2010
By Carolyn C. Arnow I boought this grill because of the size, the fact it has an off-on switch and variable temperature controls. It works like my previous two GF grills, only better! I recently mixed five large pounded chicken breasts, peppers, onions, garlic and canola oil in a large bowl and let it marinate for an hour or so. Fish out the chicken; drain the veggies. Brush a little canola oil (no sprays) on the grill and preheat. Put the veggies on the bottom, the chicken on top of that and close the lid. Cook for about 6 minutes (you be the judge). There was plenty of room on this grill for all five breasts. Last night to reheat the three left-over breasts, I put a piece of tinfoil on the bottom, the chicken breasts and another piece of foil. Turned the grill to medium heat and in 4-5 minutes, the breasts were perfect (and, no cleanup this time).
This is a long post, but wanted to show you can cook more than steak and burgers on this grill. As far as cleanup, the secret is to clean while the grill is still hot. You can do this just after you remove the food, OR, turn off the grill and reheat later for cleaning. Two ways to do this; once grill is hot, I turn it off and spray water on both surfaces. The food just boils off (if you've ever seen a flat grill cleaned at a diner, you know what I'm talking about. I finish with a wet sponge or a paper towel. Another method I use is this: I sewed two black washcloths on three sides (so I could turn it inside out). When I finish cooking, I turn off the grill lay the super wet washcloth on it and close the lid for it to steam. After supper, most of the cooking residue just wipes off. If not, I can preheat and use the wet cloth to finish. Afterwards, the washcloth goes into the laundry to be reused.
All said (and it's a lot!), don't be afraid of the cleanup. My grill is sparkling clean and it only takes about 5 minutes and no hard work.
This grill is awesome - try Google for tons of recipes - type in "Recipes George Foreman Grill."

Great value Jan 25, 2010

This grill works great. I love the Temperature control on this one. To say that this works terrible doesn't make any sense. It works like every other Foreman grill. Take my word for it. This product is wonderful. It cooks food fast.

Good for the purpose Feb 01, 2010
By Alvin Campbell I read other reviewers' comments on this unit being awkward to use and messy when cleaning. If one wants one that has confident removeable plates and is easy to handle, then go for a smaller and more expensive one. But for myself, wanting to cook more than one tiny steak or small burgers at a time, the suface area was perfect for me. It heats quick enough and fits fine in the cookware drawer.

George Foreman Grill Aug 16, 2010
By princess I really like this grill. The chicken breasts and hamburgers are great
on this grill. They are really juicy. And it cooks extremely fast but it
doesn't overcook. A Great Buy!

Cooks FAST! Easy Clean-Up... Dec 26, 2010
By Sammalamma I got this for my parents for Christmas. I got it amazingly cheap for the quality. The grill feels sturdy and durable. It cooked six pieces of chicken in six minutes! Clean-up is quite easy, if you do it correctly. Honestly, it takes three minutes or less to clean it. As a person said before me, grab a wet rag and wipe it while it's still hot. That simple. Food comes right off, and you don't even need to scrape. I suggest you don't use the scrapers at all it comes with. They'll probably damage the grill, and they're unnecessary since you can clean it with a wet rag, or you can buy the sponge specifically designed to clean Foreman grills.
Conclusion: Cheap price, sturdy, cooks fast, easy clean-up, not very heavy, and does the exact reason it was made for...reducing fat in your food!
I don't have any cons.
