5Perfect 'free' food to stop carb cravings!  Jul 16, 2010
By R. Frey
I use these for several reasons. They are great if your 'throughput' is a little sluggish, they will help you up your water intake (because they are VERY dry), and they stop carb cravings because they fill your stomach. I spread a little sugar free jelly or Walden Farms sugar free chocolate sauce on them to help ease the dryness. Don't get me wrong, you need to like the taste of bran. They are sort of like all-bran got stomped by an elephant and made into a wafer. I eat them to stop my pacing the kitchen late at night or to cure the same thing around 3:30 in the afternoon, which allows me to stay on my eating program.

4Dry, but Surprisingly Palatable  Jul 06, 2010
By J. Finkel "Jack of Trades"
I have been a fan of GG Scandinavian Bran Crispbread for years. Most people get too little fiber. Fiber is essential for flushing toxins and other junk out of your system. Fiber helps lower cholesterol and reduces the impact of high glycemic index foods. While some people choose to take supplements like psyllium, I prefer actually eating food...or the next closest thing.

The crispbreads have a somewhat cardboard taste, but mainly tasted like toasted grains, with maybe a hint of cinnamon (but i'm probably imaginging that). They are not sweet or salty or anything else appetizing. However, they work great as a vehicle for just about anything. My wife and I enjoy making little peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with them for a filling snack. If I just want to get some extra fiber, I'll eat a crisp or two with some cheese or honey. So the flavor is not an issue at all if you put something yummy on top. What is an issue is how incredibly dry these things are. make sure you have something to drink with these; that should go withotu saying though, when you are eating something that's mostly fiber.

Overall, I recommend these to anyone looking to get a little more fiber, which should include a ton of people. I got into them because I was drinking protein shakes after working out and thought i should increase my fiber on balance. Fiber really does have a noticeable benefit to your health and well-being, so definitely give these a try!

5Finally  May 25, 2010
By Olivia
I have been on low carb for years and have never really found a replacement cracker. The fakes are too eggy..or taste terrible. I love these. Now granted they really need something on top. But so what. Most crackers do. They are great with a slice of cheese..I have made them into little pizza's..wonderful. Will definitely buy again

5Fast shipping with Amazon Prime!  Sep 23, 2010
By Salina T
Got it in less than a day. Product itself was good -- not broken up at all even though they are crackers and getting packaged around everywhere. Really fills you up and gets your daily dose of fiber! Good mixed with cereal and milk, or with some jam.

REMEMBER TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER, or else you'll get the opposite of the intended effect....

4Great source of fiber and GREAT with a little apple butter  Jan 11, 2011
By kathryn v patterson
Not knowing you were only supposed to eat 1/2 bar, when I got my order I ate a whole one. It was like eating sawdust but WHOOSH! It really cleans you out & I didn't even have to wait until the next day for it to work.

The next day, after reading you're only supposed to eat 1/2 a bar, I ate mine with a little apple butter & my coffee. It's GREAT like that - tasty, moist and a little nutty.

The ones here a too pricey for me, though. One can buy direct for a much better price.
