great photos ! Nov 02, 2005

I'm a big fan of photos, and this book has plenty of them! It shows a lifestyle of how the French take tea. The recipes focus on French pastries and desserts. I like the "old world charm" of the places the author went in France. Great coffee table book on how the French does afternoon tea (instead of the English!).

Ms. Manchester Knows Tea Jun 02, 2008
By Miss G.

I've had the pleasure of sharing tea with Ms. Manchester while living in New York City, and I assure you that this warm and charming book includes her vast, yet intimate, knowledge of tea and the table. Tea lovers would be well served to include this, and her other tea books, in their collections.

French Tea Mar 20, 2009
By Robin M. Vaughn A truly lovely TEA book, which was used as a theme for a Tea Brunch with friends. Hardback edition to share with many, and will be a timeless treasure, for sure. Guidance for a true, French tea, along with recipes, and photos.
GORGEOUS May 16, 2012
By Jean Pulley The photos are so lovely that you will wish you were in France sitting at a table looking at the almost too pretty to eat offerings. It's 10:00 'Coffee break time" and I wish I were there or the table was here and ready for me to sit down and enjoy. Gorgeous book.
