Was looking for something like that for a long time, and was shocked by store prices ($100 plus). This item is not in any way inferior to those overpriced dutch ovens in stores. LOVE the color (royal blue, with gradient). The enamel coating is surprisingly non-sticky. Negatives (minor): 1) have to hand wash it, and 2) the rim between the inside and outside enamel is unconditioned metal -- will rust if not dried immediately after washing. I am completely OK with that given how much money I saved for something that works and looks like designer cookware. People commented that the plastic knob on the lid does not survive temperatures higher than 380 in the oven -- cannot comment on that, I only use it on the stove.

This does just what I wanted: it cooks evenly, keeps in moisture, doesn't stick and cleans in a flash. I use it primarily in the oven to roast a whole chicken or bake fish, for example. I have had to tighten the knob on the lid every so often, but otherwise have had no problems. I can't see how the expensive name brands could be worth the additional cost.
