Very nice for the price - nothing else comes close for size and price. The only thing holding it back from a 5 is that the pot is a bit thin to be used as a stock pot, but it's fine for deep frying. I bought a couple as gifts.

This item would not be a baragin at $10. This is a light steel pot with a flimsy fryer basket with light wire handles that make inserting and removing the basket hazardous.

The glass cover of course can not be used when deep frying (won't fit over basket) although the photos suggest that the cover can be used while deep frying.

Otherwise I like it.
