5Nothing  Apr 11, 2009
By bernie "webviator"
Now you may ask why pay to have H20 packed and shipped half way around the world just to be guzzled in a mater of seconds, minutes at the most?

Well "nothing" is the reason. Everyday you hear about the odd stuff that is in local water supplies. My favorite statement is "it may look nasty and taste awful but it is perfectly safe." So we turn to bottled water that is everything from the same local water just packaged to fancy mineral water that needs lime to mellow it out. Included in this category is a concoction called drinking water; they take everything out and put back what they guess makes water drinkable. The worst sort of stuff is items packed in colorful plastic bottles that taste like colorful plastic.

Evian on the other hand is water the way that nature intended. It goes down smooth and has no after taste. It is refreshing when cooled but can work well even at room temperature. Gourmet coffee locations use this as the base water because it does not distract from the taste. The water is even used externally for applying and removing makeup. I keep a case in the car incase of any emergency that may come up.

There is "nothing" more satisfying.

I bring these to work. My job is in retail, and we all have our water bottles. No one has these! So everyone knows that little bottle is mine. Not to mention that the water quality is lovely, and the cost per bottle is much less that buying bottles of water, one by one. Get a case delivered to you door, and that's it!

10-15 years ago I wouldn't drink anything else, but these days the taste seems a bit harsh compared to some newer entries into the market.

1Garbage juice  Jun 29, 2011
By Ryan Switzer
I bought this water because it was cheap. But let me tell you something, never buy cheap water. This was literally the worst tasting water I have ever drunk. It tastes similar to the garbage juice from my grand parent's trailer park waste runoff. I worked in the septic tank cleaning business for most of my professional life, and a significant part of my job is to clean home septic tanks. One of the most loathsome parts of my job is the scrubbing of the septic residue that accumulates on the bottom of the tank. In our business, we call this "poop cheese". Now I've been retired for many years, but upon opening the bottle of this rank liquid and bringing it to my lips, I remembered ever so vividly the horrors of poop cheese. I almost went into shock and passed out. I soon regained consciousness, but it was an ordeal I would never wish upon anyone else. Please avoid this foul-smelling concoction they call water, because it tastes like poop cheese.
