Best Tagine I've Owned Nov 20, 2009
By M. Dietz After using a silicone tagine and accidentally breaking a traditional tagine (cracked during use), I love this tagine. It is nice not having to prep and then nurse a traditional style for fear of it breaking. We've had it for about 2 weeks and have used it 5+ times. It heats and cooks beautifully on our stovetop, washes easy, and is very durable. The price is high, but the tagine is definitely worth it.

Many reviews on tagine cooking sites said this is the tagine to buy....and they were right. I put this up there with my All-Clad French Oven Roaster. Timeless quality, will pass on to my kids, looks beautiful and cooks food on a different level. I would absolutely suggest to buy the 3.7 qt. It's not too big and you will always want leftovers (if you have any). You also need the space to brown the meat without overcrowding. It browns food very nicely and cooks it quickly and evenly and tender. Only problem is storage-I leave it on my cooktop, but the outside gets dirty. Top, top quality product with beautiful design and excellent function. Worth the expensive price-I picked it as a Christmas present from my In-laws.

Easy and delicious food Feb 14, 2010
By Baltimore Buyer I bought this for my 22-year old daughter for Christmas because she loves to cook recipes from this part of the world. Fortunately, she is living with us at the moment, so I can enjoy tagine cooking as well! Food preparation is easy -- much as for a crock pot -- but the results are ready to eat in a short time. Food does stick to the bottom in the shape of the flame on our gas stove, but soaking makes it very easy to remove. I'm glad I selected the larger size, even though it made it that much more expensive, because it holds so much more. It would be a shame not to share food this good with friends. There were a couple of minor flaws in the finish of the one I originally purchased, but Amazon exchanged it with no problem, and the replacement was fine.

Emile Henry Tagine clay cooker Jul 11, 2009
By John K. Ponath It came in record time, and in perfect shape! It is better than we thought it would be. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! We love how the steam from the cooking food rolls down the inside of the lid. Very delicious food comes out of that!!! Well worth the cost. It looks beautiful on the counter when we are cooking with it.

Great addition to the kitchen May 24, 2010
By J. Rigatti I recently got interested in Moroccan food, and splurged on this tagine. It was well worth the price. Though I've only used it once so far, I produce a fabulous meal with minimal effort. It's sturdy, well made, easy to clean. I was also happy that I bought the larger size.
