5Beautiful Tough little pot  Dec 01, 2007
By T. Landato
One of the most frequently used items in our kitchen. I like that Demeyere welds on the handle instead of using rivets. This is a rare feature even with high end stainless cookware. Rivets always require a little extra cleaning. The pot is totally dishwasher friendly. We no longer buy anything that we can't toss into the dishwasher. Life is too short to be scrubbing pots. Additionally, it is probably the most attractive piece of cookware in our collection. It is very easy to maintain and seems like it will last forever. With a modicum of care, your grandkids will be passing this down to their grandkids.

5Costly but worth it.  Jan 18, 2010
By Coffee Lover
Bought this pot used (actually new, but about $85 off list) and it is perfect. I now have two demeyere pans, a "non stick" 11" frypan and this saucepan. Both are beautiful pieces, almost art-like and perform beautifully on the induction side of my new Wolf Professional glass top combination radiant and induction cooktop. I didn't realize that none of my current pot inventory, except a cast iron stewpot, would work on the induction. For some reason I thought that if it was stainless steel it would do just fine -- wrong! It has to be "magnetic" stainless steel. Oh well, live and learn. I will keep my eye on the "used" sections and pick up another pan, perhaps the 3.2 if the price is right. They really are top of the line, not only in appearence but performance.

After alot of research we fell in love with Demeyere, the quality, the welded handle shape and design won over the likes of All Clad. This pot has become one of our most used pots it great for rice, pasta, vegetables and pasta sauces. It is so versatile and everything cooks beautifully. We have two other Demeyere pots and a skillet and love all of them. We searched alot for good deals for Demeyere without any success until we discovered the price on Amazon which such great value and shipping was so fast. Demeyere is an investment but so worth it!!
