very poor design and hazardous, too Mar 23, 2012

This machine looks great but if you pour coffee from the drip carafe when the carafe is hot, the coffee runs down the side onto you, the countertop, etc. I bought the machine two weeks ago. When I contacted DeLonghi, they simply refused to help me and claimed that the machine was out of warranty. I got it at Bed Bath and Beyond, so they will take it back.

It's too bad the manufacturer does not want to fix or even address a safety issue like hot coffee spilling out of its carafe because of an obvious design flaw. Combined with the snotty attitude of their customer service people, I will never buy another DeLonghi product.

IT IS JUST THE WORSE. i BOUGHT MINE AT BED BATH AND BEYOND. IT IS SO CHEAPLY MADE. TRUST ME
