It holds 24 bottles- poorly! Jun 26, 2010

The good news is it's quiet. The bad news is it is a bad deal for only holding a bit over 20 bottles. Even their picture shows it with only about 20 bottles..Which of course I didn't notice until I wrestled with the wine bottles for about half an hour and decided to look online. Note their user manuual shows it holding 46. Unless they are talking about the single serving bottles the airlines serve, it's just not true. And the frustrating part is, it's just not worth it to return it. So now I have a really big, awkward fridge that only holds about 20 bottles. Oh, and last the temperature dial only does 'min-max' temp instead of real degrees.

Cools as designed using proven technology May 02, 2009
By I. Fetterley Arrive as expected with minor box damage (no internal damage). Works exactly as expected - maybe a little too cool at mid dial, but easy to adjust (could use a simple temperature measurement or thermometer?). Shelf design could be better - getting the rated number of bottle in require a lot of pushing and balancing of bottles. Blue internal light is a nice touch. Good solution at a reasonable price - avoid the thermo-electric fridges (Peltier device) as failures WILL end up heating your bottles and destroying your wines.

Beware Apr 28, 2009
By Therapist Item was not packaged properly and arrived damaged. Refused to accept it from UPS ( it was that obvious) but was still charged $50 shipping costs. Don't risk it.
false advertising Jan 13, 2012

This item was sold to me as new but arrived open box and used with scratches. I went back on to the site and they raised the price $200 (presumably because they got rid of the used one and now wanted to sell the new one!) There is also NO WAY one could put 46 bottles of wine in this cooler (maybe 1.2 bottles!). Otherwise, the cooler works fine.
Packaged Insufficiently to Survive Shipping May 08, 2009
By Hugh J. Donagher III With two reviews available when I placed my order, one positive and one negative, I decided to give it a shot. The box this arrived in was in such poor shape I should have refused delivery. I thought I'd take a chance and open it up. The plastic top was cracked in several places and the door was broken off. Broken off, not simply popped off its moorings. The bottom hinge was bent downward anad the top hinge was broken out of its plastic moorings.
The unit does look like it would work as advertised; the problem is getting it shipped safely. Amazon shipped it in its RETAIL packaging, not even inside a shipping box. Bad idea.
